MicroStrategy's 205,000 Bitcoin Treasury Is Bigger Than All BTC Treasuries Combined

Microstrategy has now collected 205,000 BTC with the purchase of 12,000 Bitcoins. The software company's Bitcoin Treasury is worth approximately $14.7 billion at the current Bitcoin price.

The list of companies with publicly recognized Bitcoin vaults is growing rapidly. But it's hard to overestimate how dominant micro-strategy has become in corporate bitcoin statistics.

His 205,000 BTC reserves are more than all the other 44 companies currently holding on Bitcoin Treasuries.

Remember, that list includes all publicly traded Bitcoin miners like Marathon Digital, Hat8, and Riot Platforms. In addition, electric vehicle maker Tesla, crypto exchange Coinbase and payment firm Block Inc.

We buy it to hold for 100 years. That $66,000 to $16,000 hit hit tourists, MicroStrategy founder and chairman Michael Saylor said in a CNBC interview Monday morning. “That shook the unbelievers. At 16 km we are all set to drive to zero. And that's exactly what you'll get with Bitcoin's top experts.”

MicroStrategy currently owns more bitcoin than backing shares of BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF. But MSTR will have to continue buying Bitcoin at an incredible pace to capture that honor.

The company announced last week that it was looking to raise $600 million to buy more bitcoins. But the offering went beyond the company's expectations. MicroStrategy, which trades on the Nasdaq under the symbol MSTR, said in its Monday SEC filing that there was overwhelming interest in the offering, “totaling approximately $800 million.”

MSTR shareholders seem to like the news. At the time of writing, the stock is at $1,504.42, up 6% since Friday afternoon and 110% higher than last month at this time.

Microstrategy's stock price has undoubtedly been helped along by recent Bitcoin price rallies. Just this morning, Bitcoin rose above $71,000, and a few hours later topped $72,000—making it impossible to make a definitive call on BTC's new all-time high.
