Midas Secures $50M Series A As mTokens Exceeds $1.7B in Generated Assets

Midas Secures $50M Series A As Mtokens Surpass $1.7B In Assets Minted

Midas, which empowers asset managers to bring institutional-level strategies onchain, closed a $50 million Series A round led by RRE Ventures and Creandum with additional backing from Framework Ventures, HV Capital, Ledger Cathay, North Island Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, FJ Labs and others.

The funding comes amid strong growth at mTokens, which has generated more than $1.7 billion in assets and distributed more than $37 million in production.

MTokens are digital investment instruments that represent professionally managed portfolios. Unlike stablecoins or DeFi vaults, their value rises and falls with the performance of their underlying assets.

Investors benefit from instant liquidity, on-chain transparency and the ability to use mTokens on DeFi platforms, making them a flexible, modern alternative to traditional currencies that meet the real-world financial rigors.

With a total value of over $500 million locked in and integration with major DeFi protocols, Midas is demonstrating real-world adoption of its onchain investment products.

“At Midas, our vision is to make investing work like the Internet: open, transparent, structured – and for everyone,” said Midas CEO Dennis Dinkelmeier.

Alongside the Series A, Midas is launching Midas Stacked Liquidity (MSL), a central component of the Open Liquidity Architecture.

MSL enables rapid liquidity across all investment products, eliminating liquidity and settlement risk, and has initially deployed $40 million in capacity, the group said.

The platform provides full transparency through the Midas Attestation Engine, which provides continuous on-chain backup verification, NAV and price updates for each mToken. This objective is to ensure that investors and protocols can independently verify the status of root allocations.

Midas is strengthening its partnerships with Ledger Wallet, DeFi protocols, and institutional investors, and plans to expand its tokenization strategies to include stocks, insurance, and property receipts.
