Milady Nft Memecoin Reached The Sales Goal Of $18.6M In Less Than 2 Hours

Invincible token (NFT) collection Lady Fiction Solana memecoin attracted 91,486 SOL ($18.7 million) within two hours of presale announcement.

On March 18, Milday developers announced that the Solana memecoin, named “Milady Wife Hat” after the popular Solana memecoin dogwifhat (WIF), will have a minimum investment of 1 SOL with a cap of 88,888 SOL. Hours later, the presale is now oversubscribed. “Milady Wife Hat pre-sale has grown to 88,888 SOL and is now closed,” the Milady Development team wrote: “Any additional Solana collected will be 100% refunded.”

Milady's NFT collection, made up of 10,000 anime-inspired profile picture avatars, has been well received by Singaporean hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC) co-founder Su Zhu amid the ongoing crypto bull market and the shilling.

“Yo what up milady fam! I had to clean up some milady after I heard you have the best memories on web 3,” Zhou wrote on March 6, adding: “Hell yeah, let's see what this community is all about! Time for the moon my degens aha.” After the announcement of the purchase, the price of Milady NFTs doubled in the days before retreating to $11,742 at the time of publication.

Memecoins have also been in high demand as part of the crypto bull run. On March 14, WIF reached an all-time high of $3, with memecoin fans raising more than $700,000 to promote the token at the Las Vegas Globe. WIF is the best performing memecoin of the current cycle, posting gains of over 1,000,000% since its launch in late November last year, helped by its recent listing on Binance. Similarly, on March 18, token developer Slurf accidentally burned 53,000 SOL in a presale, causing a total loss to users who invested in the airdrop.
