Nasdaq filed Form 19b-4 for Canary Litecoin ETF
Recently, Nasdaq filed a Form 19b-4 with the US SEC for the proposed Canary Litecoin ETF. Specifically, this filing initiates the official review process to approve the Spot Litecoin ETF. Specifically, a 19b-4 filing is the first official step toward obtaining the SEC's approval of ETFs. This filing therefore begins a 240-day period in which the SEC can approve, deny, or request additional information. Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas described the latest filing as a “positive sign” and suggests that Litecoin could be the next cryptocurrency to receive approval for a spot ETF. The Crypto market has reacted to the news that the price of Litecoin has risen by 15% in the last 24 hours.
