‘Nyan Heroes’ Reveals Top 100K Players, Solana NFT Rewards at Epic Games

Solana-based feline mech shooter Nian Heroes reported Friday that it has more than 100,000 players who have downloaded and played the game since its pre-alpha demo launched March 25 on the Epic Games Store.

“The Neon Heroes pre-alpha demo has been running for 10 days now, and we've been absolutely blown away by all the reception we've received,” developer 9 Lives Interactive said in a Medium post.

With less than a week to go before the pre-alpha demo ends on April 9, Nian Heroes announced on Friday that it plans to give away leaderboard rewards to top demo players, including Nian Heroes Genesis Guardian NFTs and more MEOW points. Upcoming airdrop of the game NYAN token.

According to Nyan Heroes, the top three players will receive Legendary Genesis Nyan NFT, Ultrarare Genesis NFT and Rare Genesis Nyan NFT respectively. Players ranked fourth through 10th will receive a Genesis Nian NFT, while players ranked 11th through 20th will each receive a Genesis Guardian NFT.

“The leaderboard ranking is determined by total wins during the pre-alpha demo. The more wins you get, the higher your position on the leaderboard,” said 9 Lives Interactive.

According to the middle post, the top 100 players will appear on the leaderboard. 9 Lives Interactive players who are not currently in the top 100 can find their rank by their username at the bottom of the list.

“Emerge with every victory! Each player's rank and username will be honored as the top 100 heroes are highlighted,” 9 Lives Interactive added on Twitter. “Tie to win? Score top prizes! Additionally, your MEOW points will increase with each leaderboard victory.

For example, if level 500 and 501 have the same amount, level 501 will be awarded the same amount as level 500. Nian Heroes says that all MEOW rewards from leaderboard boosts will be added to players' point totals. Replication is in progress. Finally, the top 7,500 players will all receive a limited bonus of MEOW points.

In January, Nian Heroes said players who own Nian Heroes or Guardians NFTs will receive additional rewards. This past weekend, 9 Lives Interactive offered double MEOW points during its game-to-air campaign with a special and limited-time promotion. The NYAN token is expected to launch sometime after the conclusion of the air-to-air campaign on Solana.
