Panasonic collaborates with Jasmine to create a controlled identity platform for IoT.
Tech giant Panasonic has partnered with Jasmi to develop its Web3 platform to connect personal data to the Internet-of-Things (IoT). The new platform will be based on Jasmy's Personal Data Locker product.
IoT platform developer Jasmy and Panasonic Advanced Technology began their partnership in February, but announced it on March 26. The new platform provides secure data storage and gives users control over access to their data, while also improving processing and response times. According to the statement:
“This platform incorporates agile development methods in Web3 technology and emphasizes speed. We implement the public [platform] As an open platform, it aims to recruit users widely and use them in various fields.
Jasmi's chief financial officer Hiroshi Harada, who goes by the name Hara on social media, told X that the new platform will be built in “3-6 months.”
According to Jasmi's website, with Personal Data Locker, when data files are stored in a decentralized network, only hash values are managed on the blockchain. Thanks to this system, the storage capacity of single blocks and large file sizes are not a hindrance to performance.
Jasmi It was founded in 2016 by former Sony executives and listed JasmyCoin (JASMY) on exchanges in 2021. As stated on the website, Merchants pay Jasmy to use the data stored by JASMY in exchange for Rewards.
