Pi Network to launch a decentralized mediation feature on the Fireside Forum
Pi Network has announced a ‘decentralized moderator' on the Web3 social platform Fireside forum.
The feature is aimed at encouraging better Web3 social interactions.
The Fireside Forum was launched in June this year.
Pi Network plans to launch a new feature called Fireside Forum, a “decentralized moderation” Web3 social platform.
Decentralized moderating feature of Fireside Forum
In a blog post on December 12, the P Network team said that “decentralized moderation” is currently in development. It brings decentralized social content moderation to users at the time of release, encouraging “meaningful and respectful online conversations.”
The goal is to develop a Web3 social experience where blockchain transcends ownership. According to Pi, this is the vision of the Fireside Forum, which launched in June 2023 and featured stable user interaction.
“Through decentralized moderation, Fireside Forum aims to achieve a self-sustaining and transparent content ecosystem through cryptocurrency integration that enables diverse voices to be heard while being accountable for our behavior and respectful of others,” the forum said in a blog post.
Pi Network believes the new feature will not only empower users but also help shape the evolution of Fireside Forum. This includes aspects such as content quality, accountability and healthy online interactions.
Decentralized moderation is expected to have standardized arbitration standards, tokennomics, and a fair reward system that is gamified and structured.
