PleasrDAO, a decentralized independent organization known for collecting digital and physical art, sharing copyright among DAO members, and philanthropic activities, filed a lawsuit against ‘pharma bro' Martin Shkreli.

The lawsuit alleges that Shkreli hosted an X Spaces event on June 9 and broadcast a live stream of the same Wu-Tang Clan album previously available on PleasrDAO in 2021. Virtual meeting room.

PleasrDAO is now suing Shkreli for causing undue harm to PleasrDAO, citing “significant financial and irreparable damages” in their official complaint:

“The album was supposed to be the only existing copy of the record, music, data and files and packaging. But now, when Shkreli was arrested, he improperly possessed and released a copy of the data and files. / or intended to release them to the public.”

The complaint continues: “Such actions will cause PleasrDAO to suffer substantial financial and irreparable harm, and give rise to numerous claims under injunctive relief and common law.”

Shkreli condemned the lawsuit, saying PleasrDAO members did not support the trial and were not given a chance to vote on the lawsuit.
