Blockchain-based betting platform Polymarket has suspended users following an investigation by French gaming regulator Autorité Nationale des Jacques. The ban prevents users in France from placing bets or trading on Polymarket, even though the platform is accessible in view-only mode. The move comes after a French businessman placed a large bet on Donald Trump following controversy over whether his platform was in line with French gambling laws to win the 2024 US presidential election.
