A former employee of memecoin creation and trading platform pump.fun – who recently allegedly ran a $1.9 million exploit – has been arrested, charged and is now on bail in the UK, he said.
On May 16, X user “STACCoverflow” — who posted and confirmed his name is Jarrett Dunn — claimed responsibility for the attack, which pump.fun said used a “vulnerable position” to gain “removal authority” and compromise the protocol's systems. .
In a May 18 series of posts on a separate X account, Dunn wrote, “The pump crew spent time in jail for accusing me of stealing. [$2 million]” and conspired to steal an additional $80 million, he said, “paid for by bail and mental health.”

In a message to another X user, TheRollup, Dunn said he had to return to the police station on August 15. The account also claims that a private detective has been hired to find Dunne in London.
In another X post, Dunn rallied UK citizens to file a lawsuit against a local company he claims is part of Pump.fun, and his bail conditions prevent him from contacting the company and its CEO.
Pump.fun did not respond to a request for comment. The private information firm reportedly involved in finding Dan did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
