Korea University began to diversify with private student access
South Korean telecom company LG Uplus has launched a Metavas experience at Yonsei University. The virtual world recreates the school's Sinchon campus with visible landmarks such as the auditorium and library.
Dubbed “Meta Yonsei”, Meta Versus restricts certain features to verified students. While outsiders can walk around the virtual campus, meeting facilities and student-only areas are limited.

Captain Tsubasa NFT football game launched on Oasis blockchain
The best-selling Japanese manga Captain Tsubasa has launched his NFT football game on the Oasis Blockchain. On May 20, gaming-focused blockchain Oasys announced that it has released a web3 version of the 80s manga game on the network.
The Web3 game was first revealed in 2010. It is in 2022 and officially launched on January 12, 2023. Web3 Gaming also released a management token on June 4, 2023.

Blockchain game investments reached 1 billion dollars in April
With renewed interest in blockchain gaming, the sector saw nearly $1 billion in investments in April, according to a report released by Dapradar and the Blockchain Gaming Alliance. The highest amount of investments since January 2021 has reached 988 million dollars, according to the report.
In addition to gaming, Metaverse projects saw signs of growth in April. NFT metaverse Mocaverse showed a trade of 8.4 million dollars, leaving the competition in the dust.

Dolce and Gabbana face class-action lawsuit after alleged NFT delivery delays
Fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana and Web3 Platform UNXD are facing a lawsuit from an unhappy customer regarding delivery delays of NFT products. The suit claims the properties have lost 97 percent of their value because of the delay.
Client Luke Brown bought DGFamily NFTs for $6,000. However, the NFTs reportedly arrived more than a week late, reducing their value by $5,800.

Coffeezilla calls out AI firm Rabbit over NFT fraud
YouTube reporter Stephen “Cofizilla” Findison claims in his video that AI company Rabbit was involved in NFT scams before moving to AI. A crypto investigator has highlighted that the company intended to fund the NFT project and did not deliver on its promises.
Findison says the company's new AI product Rabbit R1 is similar to the successful NFT project. The investigator said the project was “built on the skeleton of that scam project” and similarly exaggerated.
