Remilia hacker moves $4.3M to Tornado Cash


The hacker responsible for the $4.3 million Remelia exploit in March released the stolen crypto assets through crypto mixer Tornado Cash.

On June 17, blockchain analytics company CertiK reported that 1,209.5 Ether (ETH) was deposited into Tornado Cash for $4.3 million. According to CertiK, the assets were recovered from multiple addresses linked to the Remilia hack on March 16.

Remelia is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) responsible for Milady Maker's Invulnerable Token (NFT) collection.

A hacker sells Milady-related NFTs

Three months after the Remelia hack, crypto assets have been put on a mixed platform.

On March 16, Remelia and Milady founder Krishna Okhandyar, also known as Charlotte Fang, reported being hacked. The report comes as large amounts of ETH and NFTs were transferred to the leaked wallet after the assets were taken over.

The incident was highlighted by an account called Dumpster DAO on X, which shared a screenshot of Remelia's founder reporting the hack. The X account also shared the addresses it received from wallets linked to Remelia.

Blockchain data shows that the address transferred Milady-related NFTs, including held NFTx assets, and $1 million in ETH to another address.

Milady memecoin presale

Two days after the hack, memecoin, a tribute to Milady NFTs, successfully conducted a pre-sale on the Solana network. On March 18, Lady Wife Hat (LADYF), which takes inspiration from the dog-themed memecoin Dog Wif Hat (WIF), attracted 91,486 Solana (SOL) two hours after its announcement, which was worth $18.7 million. time.

The team has announced that it will return all additional SOL to exporters as pre-sale sales have been oversubscribed. Since then, the asset's price has declined, reaching a new all-time low of $0.00001703 on June 14.

On its website, the creators of memecoin have clarified that they are not associated with Charlotte Fang and Milady Maker NFTs. “This token is simply a celebration of the NFT collection we all love and know,” they wrote.
