Robinhood offered a special New Year's giveaway as part of its HOOD Holidays event on Wednesday, and Bitcoin was one of the popular prizes.

The commission-free trading platform distributed $1.5 million in BTC to users, along with luxury items, including a Porsche 911, a Rolex Daytona and an Hermes Birkin bag.

The campaign, which launched on December 26, featured limited-edition surprises, with each drop offering new rewards to participating users. The campaign's crypto rewards were not limited to Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Solana and XRP were also available.

Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev concluded the HOOD Holidays today, announcing that a total of $7 million in gifts were distributed to Gold members. He also teased several new product launches planned for the coming months.
