Commission-free Robinhood is giving away $500,000 worth of Dogecoin (DOGE) to users who participate in its Hood Holidays Countdown event starting tonight.
In addition to DOGE, which has grown into one of the most widely recognized digital assets, the group will also be giving away prizes such as Rolex Watches and Apple AirPods as part of the festival campaign.
However, on the first day of the event, many users reported experiencing issues within the Robinhood app that prevented them from receiving rewards within the five-minute window. Some said they were waiting early, but were shown a blank screen and later told they had missed out on rewards.
Hey @RobinhoodApp – what's up? I joined today's countdown and was given a blank screen, unable to enter the countdown. He was waiting minutes before the countdown and still couldn't find it. pic.twitter.com/D4p7rX5L0H
