Ronaldo and Binance released the third NFT collection with special fan rewards
Soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance have announced the launch of their third NFT collection: CR7 ForeverZone, which contains 50,000 limited edition mystery boxes that will be available for free to new and existing users of the exchange.
This marks the latest development in the ongoing collaboration between Ronaldo and Binance with the shared goal of transforming fan interaction in the sports and entertainment sector and attracting fans to the Web3 space.
Ronaldo's third NFT collection
According to a press release shared with CryptoPotato, each secret box provides access to a unique CR7-inspired NFT.
The CR7 ForeverZone collection includes 50 signed footballs and 50 shirts, 50 tickets to Binance Blockchain Week and exclusive NFTs from previous Ronaldo collaborations. The collection also offers one Golden Ticket NFT, an exclusive opportunity to meet and train with Ronaldo in person.
Ronaldo said in a statement.
“I've always felt the incredible energy and support of my fans, and I wanted to share with them in a way that brought us closer together. At Binance we can build this accessible relationship and bring unique opportunities through our partnership and I can share my legacy with them.
Following the launch of the third batch of NFTs, Binance Chief Marketing Officer Rachel Conlan also commented on the partnership with Ronaldo.
“Ronaldo is not only making sporting history as one of the greatest athletes of our time; He is at the forefront of the innovation revolution. With our third NFT collection, the CR7 ForeverZone Collection, we're honored to help share some of that legacy with fans as we pave the way for the Web3-based future of sports and entertainment.
Cristiano Ronaldo x Binance
Last summer, Binance closed its partnership with Ronaldo, promising to provide fans with “unprecedented experiences” through the Binance NFT platform, shortly after which he released seven animated images of the “CR7” NFT collection in four rare stages.
The 38-year-old sports sensation then released a second collection in July this year, titled “Forever CR7: The GOAT”, which immortalises some of his best goals and features an extensive digital collection organized into different categories.
Ronaldo took a lie detector test in September to answer various questions about football, including NFT possessions.
