Sahil Arora, The Promoter Of The Famous Memecoin, Was Banned By X

Social media platform X has banned alleged serial fraudster Sahil Arora's “@Habibi_Comm” account.

The account was involved in the use of fake chat scripts with Australian musician Iggy Azalea, and was also used to fund memecoins of celebrities who faced fraud allegations, which is against the platform's rules.

Azalea launched her own cryptocurrency and distanced herself from Aurora, while Olympian Caitlyn Jenner and American rapper Rich The Kid (Dimitri Leslie Roger) publicly accused Aurora of fraud related to memecoins they promote using their brand.

But the lawsuit didn't stop Arora from promoting fake partnerships and even more popular memecoins.

Aurora announced a partnership with BingX on June 3, an association the cryptocurrency exchange denies.

A BingX spokesperson told Cointelegraph in a LinkedIn message: “We don't work with him.

Arora then introduced another famous memecoin project, this time based on Offset (Kyari Kendrell Cephus), an American hip hop artist who jumped on the popular bandwagon and accused Arora of fraud.

But screenshots of messages obtained by Cointelegraph suggest that Offset has met Aurora in the past.

The Solana-based memecoin project, which spoke to Cointelegraph on condition of anonymity, says it was introduced to Offset by Aurora in March.

When the memecoin project tried to promote their cryptocurrency with the help of the artist, Arora is said to have acted as an intermediary between the two parties.

The memecoin project sent $20,000 to an address shared in Aurora, but Offset said it didn't receive the payment.

The memecoin project says that both Arora Habibi_Comm's account and Offset have been banned since.

Despite the ban, Arora is believed to have multiple accounts on X and has been seen directing followers to new accounts on his Telegram channel.

Arora recently publicized his relationship with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and actress Lindsay Lohan before being banned on social media.
