Senator Lummis and Scott Bessant met to discuss the strategic Bitcoin stock
In the recent past, US Senator Cynthia Lammis and Donald Trump's incoming Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant met to discuss the United States' potential strategic Bitcoin reserves. Lummis called Besant a “champion of digital assets and a critical partner in advancing the strategic Bitcoin Reserve.” Lummis proposed that the Bitcoin Act of 2024 would allow the country to create a leading crypto reserve. Its presence strengthens the US dollar and ensures that it remains the global cryptocurrency house. The bill finally proposes a US purchase of 1 million BTC by 2030. In addition, the property will last for at least 20 years.
