Solana Decentralized Exchange (DEX) Jupiter Revises Plan After Management's Proposal Fails to Reach 70% of Top Level, $1.6 Billion in JUP Drops to Users in Multiple Waves

Earlier this week, Jupiter's DAO proposal, written by eponymous Jupiter co-founder Meo, went live for a vote, allowing token holders to decide whether Jupiter will air up to $1.6 billion for the next two airdrops in January.

The proposal received more Over 364 million votes in JUP; It received only 58% of votes in favor of distributing the tokens to users.

Now Meo and Jupiter will go back to the drawing board, first assessing feedback from opposition voters and addressing those concerns with a new proposal expected to be voted on next week.

“I think the ‘Grow a Pine' idea with Jupuri is a good one. “If the amount was different, I would have blindly voted ‘yes',” said the user Juanortuzar.sol On the proposal stage.

The amount of JUP – a total of 1.4 billion tokens – and other factors will need to be adjusted in order to get the additional support Mew and team need to get their proposal passed.

JUP, the native token of the Jupiter ecosystem, is up nearly 4% on the day and is trading at $1.15.
