Solana Memecoin Bonk Up 7% After 'Learn' Deal With Revolut


Solana-based memecoin Bonk (BONK) surged 7% after news that Solana-based memecoin may soon list on the Revolut trading platform.

As part of the proposed partnership, European fintech firm Bonk is set to run a “learn and earn campaign” that aims to grow memecoin's user base by 500,000, Bonkdao, the decentralized independent organization behind Bonk, announced in a statement on February 14. .

Revolut currently has 38 million users and is operating a banking license in more than 50 countries, BonkDAO said, meaning it only needs to capture 1.3% of Revolut users to reach its goal.

Violent users are reportedly incentivized to participate in the Learn and Earn campaign with $1.2 million in prizes.

BONK price is at $0.000025 after the news, up 7.2% in the last five hours and 13.1% in 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.

BONK became one of the most talked about tokens by the end of 2023 when its price increased 14,000% to $0.000025. It has fallen 60% from its all-time high but remains one of the most popular memecoins in terms of transaction volume.

The campaign is still awaiting official approval from BonkDAO.

At the time of publication, seven of Bonk's 12 voting members had voted in favor of the campaign, with just one more vote needed to reach an approved quorum.

No one is against the campaign. The remaining five voters have four days to vote.

If approved, the Learn and Earn campaign will run under two “waves.”

The first involves the launch of BONK on Revolt, with the aim of “organic growth” for the first one to two months. After that, the Learn and Earn campaign begins.
