Solana Shooter 'Nyan Heroes' Reveals Nyn Airdrop Plans

After a few days Launch on the Epic Games Store, SolanaBased hero shooter Nian Heroes has revealed that it plans to launch an “air-to-air download” campaign during the game's early access release, giving players the ability to earn token rewards during the game's release.

Nyan plans to launch an Early Access Playtest in February, which will reward brave players with NYN. The Early Access Challenge will be released as a free-to-play PC game, and it looks like existing Heroes owners will earn some money though. NFTs Eligible for “Additional Airdrop Rewards”. A post.

Developer 9 Lives Interactive said it will be conducting various launch activities in the coming weeks that include Genesis NFT Rewards, which could provide users with additional weather benefits while playing.

The entire game-to-air campaign is set to run through March amid early access playtests and other related activities.

Nian Heroes is a heroic shooter that can be compared to Blizzard's popular online game Overwatch, although the cat characters pilot giant mech suits. It was previously described as a battle royale shooter similar to Fortnite and Apex Legends, but it seems to have shifted gears during development.

Unfortunately, the growing hype over the upcoming airdrop helped fuel an attack on the game's Discord server late Monday.

A hacker has taken over the server and distributed malicious links that can steal NFT and other users from wallets connected to them. 9 Lives Interactive says users who lose Nian Heroes NFTs will be fully prepared using the group's backup, which already has proof of ownership on-chain.

“We discovered that this was probably a carefully planned attack, knowing that we have several big triggers coming up on our roadmap,” said Max Fu, founder of Nian Heroes, in a Discord announcement late Monday.

“We have spent the last few hours with an external security auditor in an internal military unit to ensure that we have not breached our own organization's files/data etc,” he added. We're happy to say that there were no breaches on the studio's side and everything seems to be handled by Discord via a hacked Discord account.
