Solana NFTs all-time sales volume reached 5 billion dollars
Solana-based NFTs hit new all-time highs. On February 23, NFT data tracker CryptoSlam for Solana NFTs all-time sales volume has already exceeded 5 billion dollars. Additionally, the total number of NFT transactions on the blockchain has reached around 43 million.
After four months of decline, Solana lifted NFTs in October 2023, with sales jumping 192% from $28 million to $82 million. The momentum continued through December 2023, when the chain recorded its second-highest monthly sales of $365 million.

BAYC co-founder Greg Solano has been named CEO of Yoga Labs
Greg Solano, one of the creators behind the popular Bored Up Yacht Club collection, has become the new CEO of Yoga Labs. Solano, who co-founded the company, will replace Daniel Alegre, who has been CEO since April 2023.
In an interview with XPost, Solano said he is “stepping back” as CEO of the NFT company and is ready to take on the responsibilities and lead the company into a new chapter.

ZachXBT recovered the $177,000 in NFT proceeds after a nine-month investigation.
On-chain hacker ZachXBT recovered most of the money from the sale of stolen DeGods NFT, which was taken from its original owner in a phishing scam in May 2023. The crypto investigator shared the results of a nine-month investigation into the theft. , on February 24, shows that most of the funds have been returned to the owner.
The hackers sold the NFT in May for 99 Ether (ETH), which was worth about $177,000 at the time. A “good chunk” of the money has already been returned to the victim, according to the pseudonymous crypto investigator.

The PUBG publisher has tapped Circle to integrate the in-game wallet into the new Metaverse
Overdare – a joint venture between software company Naver Z and PUBG: Battlegrounds publisher Crafton – has announced a partnership with Stats Coins Club to integrate gaming wallets into Metaverse.
The Circle Wallet service allows game content creators to have a Web3 wallet to receive USD Coin (USDC) payments for the content they create. The MetaVas scale integrates the USDC stablecoin to settle in-game transactions.

Nifty News: Yuga skips non-royalty markets, South Korea to discuss NFTs with Gary Gensler
Meanwhile, South Korean financial officials plan to hold NFT-focused talks with US SEC Chairman Gensler. According to local media, Lee Bok-hyun, chairman of South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service, will begin talks with Gensler in May.
