SpaceXAI provides anthropogenic access to Colossus 1 to increase cloud capacity

Spacexai Gives Anthropic Access To Colossus 1 To Boost Claude Capacity

SpaceAI has signed an agreement to use Colossus 1, one of the world's largest AI supercomputers, with Anthropoc.

Anthroponic plans to use the additional compute to improve the capacity of its Cloud Pro and Cloud Max subscribers, according to an announcement by SpaceXAI. The deal gives Anthropoc access to more than 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs, including the H100, H200 and next-generation GB200 accelerators.

The deal will expand the pace of AI computing as leading labs compete for the chips, power and infrastructure needed to train and operate large models.

Colossus 1 is designed for AI training, optimization, inference, high-performance computing, large language models, multimodal systems, scientific simulations, and generative AI workloads.

Anthroponic also expressed interest in working with SpaceXAI to develop several gigawatts of on-orbit AI computing capacity. According to SpaceXAI, the demand for next-generation AI systems exceeds what they can deliver on the required schedule from ground power, ground and cooling.

The agreement brings together two major players in the AI race, SpaceXAI will provide computing and Anthropotic Cloud will use it to support subscription products.

The partnership comes as Anthroponic expands the cloud beyond chat to code, enterprise workflows and agent tools.

Early last Wednesday, Anthropopic launched new Claude Managed Agents features such as Dreaming, Results, and Multi-Agent Orchestration to help agents remember past work, check results, and manage more complex tasks with less human guidance.
