Spain’S Top Soccer League Laliga Teams With Polymarket To Create Next-Level Fan Experiences

A partnership between Spain's top soccer league and Relevent Sports Group, LaLiga North America has partnered with Polymarket for several years to provide North American fans with new ways to connect with the league and its stars.

“Soccer's rapid growth in North America is driven by a younger and more diverse fanbase that is watching matches across multiple devices, and the league is exploring new engagement strategies to connect more meaningfully with these audiences,” Boris Gartner, CEO and partner at Relevant, said in a statement.

“It's important to go beyond traditional engagement efforts to bring these audiences to the beautiful game like never before, and we couldn't think of a better partner than Polymarket to achieve that,” Gartner said.

Through the partnership, fans will have unprecedented opportunities to predict match results, interact with players and engage in digital, social and VIP experiences.

The agreement supports Laliga's continued expansion in North America and builds on a 20-year partnership with Relevent. Polymarket will have exclusive rights to use league and club IP and collaborate on next-gen sports loyalty technology in a transparent, responsible engagement framework.

According to Polymarket CEO Shane Coplan, the goal is to provide a more expressive platform for fans to follow football by allowing them to track their views on players and matches in real-time.

“Partnering with LaLiga brings that level of connection to one of the most passionate global fanbases and provides a new and more dynamic way for North American audiences to engage with the league,” Coplan said.

Polymarket works with major leagues such as MLB, NHL, UFC and MLS, bringing real-time prediction engagement to passionate soccer viewers across North America.
