Starknet 50M STRK allocates early ecosystem contributors
The Starknet Foundation is the organization behind the Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain platform Starknet. Starknet's native token is $STRK and is expected to launch in April 2024. Early ecosystem contributors will benefit from a $50 million STRK allocation.
The Starknet Foundation announced the Early Community Member Program (ECMP), which will help develop the Ethereum layer-2 package Starknet. The program aims to reward early ecosystem contributors and encourage further support.
The application is open to all builders, technical and non-technical, the organization said in an announcement on Monday.

50 million dollars STRK has been allocated for the initiative
According to the Starknet Foundation, ECMP is for Starknet believers. To recognize the critical role early contributors play through a rewards program using the Starknet token $STRK.
The Foundation has allocated 50 million ion $STRK for this program.
According to the announcement, the initiative will have a phase one focus on technical speaking, key projects, event organizers and regular publishers of StarNet brand content. A committee reviews feedback after the first phase and decides to start a second phase with additional criteria.
Eligible individuals have from October 30 to November 23, 2023 to submit their application. The committee is expected to deliver its decision on December 29, 2023. $STRK tokens are expected to be traded live from April next year.
