Sui joins the exclusive list of AWS-integrated blockchains
The Sui Foundation, an organization dedicated to the development and adoption of the eponymous Layer 1 Blockchain, today announced the integration of Amazon Web Services (AWS) Blockchain Node Runners Sui.
With this integration, developers on Sui can easily configure and deploy full nodes of Sui in an AWS environment, benefiting from the high availability, scalability and reliability of AWS' robust cloud infrastructure. AWS Blockchain Node Runners simplify the process of running blockchain nodes, allowing users to easily deploy, scale, manage, and monitor secure blockchain nodes. Starting today, Navi, the leading liquidity protocol, participates as a Node Runner user to deploy full nodes on Sui.
Kathryn Van Nuys, Global Head of Startups in Special Segments at AWS, said, “AWS Blockchain Node Runners is designed to support developers at all stages of the application lifecycle, providing designs that meet specific requirements, from enhanced security and compliance to ease of deployment. and monitoring. We're excited to bring these and other features to enable developers to deploy and manage Sui nodes on the AWS cloud.
Node Runners provide several key technical advantages for deploying blockchain nodes. Provides proven, best-practice deployment templates for cross-node operations across multiple geographies. High availability is ensured by multi-node deployment options in different availability zones. The deployment code is fully open-sourced and available on GitHub, allowing users to review it before deployment. Integrated with AWS' well-designed framework, Node Runners helps organizations build secure, high-performance, robust, and efficient node infrastructures. Full nodes on Sui verify on-chain activities such as transactions, checkpoints, and date changes, as well as share and store history of customer requests for better service. By offloading request service from validator nodes, validators can focus on transaction processing and node updates when new transactions are completed.
Navi, the leading Liquidity on Sui, is one of the first users to engage with Node Runners on Sui, and has deployed its first node on AWS services as of today.
As part of AWS and the Sui Foundation's commitment to empowering Sui developers, developers and startups using AWS Blockchain Node Runners or building on Sui can earn up to $5,000 in Activate credits. The Sui Foundation has joined the AWS Web3 Vendor Program, which provides tools, resources, content and credits to Sui developers.
Henrik Johansson, Head of Global Community at Sui Foundation, said, “The integration of AWS Node Runners on Sui is a significant step forward in the development of blockchain infrastructure. Sui nodes are fundamental to Sui operation and accessibility. This integration with AWS not only gives developers more tools to simplify node deployment, but also provides funding to use and develop on AWS.
