Sui is growing with great developer experience – Router CEO
The Sui blockchain ecosystem has seen significant growth in recent months, and its native Sui (SUI) token has seen a sustained rally alongside it. In an interview with Cointelegraph, Router Protocol Co-Founder and CEO Ramani Ramachandran said this is due to the great developer experience and community in the Sui ecosystem.
Ramachandran Sui says that by combining the easy-to-use Move programming language with a simple interface for end consumers, it makes the blockchain ecosystem attractive to developers. The CEO told Cointelegraph:
“The amazing thing about Sui is that the founders don't show up that much, but developers are actually doing something because they're talking about them. A lot of developers are talking about how great Sui is – Sui is amazing.”
Ramachandran continued, “The community and the vibe has been great,” and praises the Sui developer community as a sustainable ecosystem, unlike other alternative tier-1 projects that fizzle out following the token generation event.

VanEck's October report showed that monolithic blocks like Sui and Solana outperformed other ecosystems in September.
Sui gained 140% in daily active addresses in September. This increased network activity has fueled demand for the SUI token and its current market capitalization has reached $9.9 billion.
Earlier in 2024, K33 Research released a report highlighting Sui's potential to become a Solana competitor. This report also highlights the Sui architecture as a key factor that makes the blockchain attractive, compared to other layer-1 blockchains that require more complex programming languages and developer tools.
In the year On November 22, asset manager Franklin Templeton teamed up with Sui to explore application development on the activity-based blockchain ecosystem.
With Sui's high throughput—the ability to process many transactions per second—and low latency, the Sui network is attractive for applications that require frequent updates, such as video games.
Myston Labs, the developer behind the Sui blockchain network, has announced a handheld gaming PC expected to launch sometime in 2025, which will be optimized for blockchain and traditional PC gaming.
