Layer 1 blockchain Sui has announced a partnership with Google Cloud to power Web3 applications with improved security, scalability and AI-driven tools.

As part of the collaboration, Google Cloud has integrated Sui blockchain data into BigQuery public datasets, Google shared in today's blog post. The integration aims to arm developers with powerful analytics tools, enabling them to unlock new insights and innovate at the forefront of decentralized application (dApp) development.

The partnership will enable Sui to harness the power of Vertex AI, Google's cloud-based AI platform specifically trained on the Move programming language. This initiative is intended to assist Web3 developers in efficiently debugging and improving code generation.

In addition, Myston Labs, the team behind the Sui blockchain, introduced a new AI-based code auditing tool using Google Cloud's extensive AI and cloud capabilities. This tool is designed to identify security vulnerabilities in a variety of programming languages, including Rust, Move, TypeScript, and Solidity, which reinforces security measures.

According to Google Cloud, Sui's zkLogin technology demonstrates the potential of this partnership. zkLogin facilitates a seamless and frictionless login experience for users transitioning from a Web2 to a Web3 environment.

Using well-known OAuth credentials from platforms like Google, zkLogin makes accessing Sui's blockchain and applications easy, allowing users accustomed to traditional web services to connect with new decentralized technologies.

Google Cloud infrastructure supports the Sui network, ensuring robust performance and scalability.

“Partnering with Google Cloud will help us develop secure, scalable and user-centric Web3 experiences,” said Evan Cheng, CEO of Mysten Labs.

Amit Zaveri, VP and General Manager and Head of Platform for Google Cloud, expressed their commitment to Web3 innovation, highlighting Sui's blockchain technology and focus on user-friendly experiences.

“Sui's advanced blockchain technology and commitment to user-friendly experiences make them a valuable partner in delivering transformative applications that can be easily adopted by Web3 and Web2 developers,” Zaveri said.

In addition to technology advancements, Google Cloud extends support to the UI developer community through the comprehensive Web3 Launch Program. This initiative offers valuable resources such as Google Cloud credits, access to exclusive Web3 Discord channels, foundation grants, and opportunities to participate in global events.
