Teter is raising a new arm to coordinate educational initiatives

Tether created an educational branch that offers courses, workshops and other resources for skill development in blockchain technology and other digital fields. The new branch of Tether, the issuer of Tether (USDT), the world's largest stablecoin by market cap, provides a “smart learning environment” through the collaboration of experts and pioneers in the field.

Teaser Edu will focus specifically on emerging markets in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States and Asia. In addition to blockchain, its educational efforts span topics such as design, artificial intelligence, and coding.

The statement also said that Teezer Edu will coordinate the company's existing educational initiatives. Among these initiatives are collaborations with the Digital Industry Academy in Georgia and the crypto exchange Bitkub in Thailand. Teter is one of the sponsors of the Plan B Summer School in Lugano, Switzerland. Tether CEO Paolo Arduino said:

“We strongly believe that the financial instruments exemplified by the USDt are not just trading tools, but catalysts to rewrite economic history. Education is the cornerstone of this journey.”

In a post on X, Arduino indicated that at least some of the featured items may be chargeable. This initiative has not yet started and is currently looking to hire human resources and finance executives.

Tether is locking down his position in a crowded field. Several crypto companies offer some educational resources, from online guides to courses like XRPL's nine-hour free training on XRP Ledger Programming available on their website. Other organizations offer more targeted materials, such as the Treasure Program in West Africa. The industry has paid for certification courses offered by the Blockchain Council and the Digital Assets Council of Financial Professionals.

Blockchain education is becoming more common globally as tech giants IBM, Oracle, Cisco, Amazon, and Google and prominent companies in heavy industry seek employees with blockchain skills. Blockchain-related courses can be found at major universities such as MIT, Oxford University, and Harvard University, as well as smaller local institutions.

Universities often expand their audience through their own online courses or outlets. Online course provider Coursera, for example, offers 832 courses in “Blockchain” for free or relatively low cost. Those courses are offered on the website by universities and large corporations. 25 courses from Coursera are at the highest level.
