The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance proposed a merger with CUDOS
The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance proposes a merger with CUDOS. CUDOS' native token, an AI computing platform, will convert to FET if the proposal passes a community vote.
The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance has announced a proposal to integrate the Alliance with Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) platform CUDOS.
SingularityNET, Fetch.ai and Ocean Protocol have merged into one entity under the ASI Alliance, and the new development means CUDOS will join as a founding member.
ASI provides CUDOS integration
ASI announced the merger proposal on September 11, and the CUDOS team posted it on their X account.

Details of the proposal include confirmation that the distributed AI computing provider will be a critical addition to the ASI Alliance.
In particular, CUDOS says, tapping into blockchain to provide scalable, cost-effective and flexible cloud AI services will help the Artificial Super Intelligence Alliance's efforts to become a leader in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
“This partnership isn't just about combining our resources; it's about pushing the boundaries of what decentralized AI can achieve and creating a seamless environment where AI and blockchain technology can grow together. By leveraging CUDOS' powerful computing network into the ASI framework, we're setting the stage for future technological advances in AI, the future of technology.” It paves the way for redefining and decentralized AGI and ASI,” said Matt Hawkins, founder of CUDOS.
CUDOS token migration
If both the CUDOS and ASI communities approve the proposal in a vote scheduled for September 19 to September 24, 2024, the CUDOS token will be converted into the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance Token (FET).
As detailed in the announcement, the CUDOS to FET conversion ratio will be 112.427:1. A compounding fee of 5% is applied to bring it to about 118.344:1.
The price of the CUDOS token rose sharply after the news, reaching a high of $0.01 before paring profits. CUDOS's daily trading volume has risen 113 percent to $1.2 million at the time of writing.
