Members of the crypto community have rallied behind a post on X (formerly Twitter) asking owner Elon Musk to remove the profile of Bitcoin's legendary creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.
On October 3, user Pleditor posted on X that the account claiming to be Nakamoto and the account with the handle “Bitcoin” should be removed because they violate the platform's terms of service, which does not allow “misleading and deceptive practices.” Identities.

Plaintiffs have highlighted the terms and conditions they believe the bills are violating.
“You may not use someone else's identity without disclosing that you are a parody account. It's no different than creating a fake ‘Tesla' or ‘Elon Musk' account.
X's terms and conditions state that users may not “misappropriate the identities of individuals, groups or organizations or use false identities to deceive others.”
He describes this as being like the person we once were. A deceptive identity is misleading the public with an unreal identity.

Nakamoto's true identity has been a topic of discussion in the Bitcoin (BTC) and crypto community for years, but the Satoshi X account is managed by a user named Andy Rowe, who has been posting from his profile since 2018.
In the year July 2, 2018 Rowe says he wants “quotes” for Satoshi's account.

Members of the crypto community rallied behind Pleader's post, calling the tag “shameful” and “the change needs to happen now.” A user said they had previously tried to contact administrators about those accounts but had been ignored.
Another user asked for the accounts to be disabled, echoing how X responded with the handle “@internet.”
