The Ronin Network integrates transactions for fiat-to-crypto and NFT payments

Transc, a global cryptocurrency on-ramp, has partnered with Ronin Network to simplify gaming-focused blockchain, fiat-to-crypto transactions and non-trivial token (NFT) purchases from Sky Mavis.

The partnership allows players to access the Ronin ecosystem using common payment methods such as credit cards and Apple Pay, and allows fiat-to-NFT purchases through Tranak's NFT Checkout service.

Ronin users can purchase the network's native Ronin (RON) token, USD Coin (USDC), Wrapped Ether (WETH) and Smooth Love Potion (SLP) via credit cards, debit cards and local payment options.

Etienne Gandon, partnership manager at Transc, told Cointelegraph that players on Ronin need access to onchain assets, in-game tokens and NFTs to “fully engage with their games.”

NFT checking service

A central feature of the partnership is the integration of Tranak's NFT Checkout service into Mavis Market, Ronin's official NFT marketplace.

The NFT Checkout service allows users to directly purchase digital assets with fiat currency, eliminating the pre-purchase of cryptocurrencies to manage on-chain transactions.

Gandon described the service as “the most advanced fiat-to-NFT solution in the market”, featuring the ability to buy multiple NFTs in a single transaction and purchase limits as low as $0.01.

“NFTs are so underrated because many people don't fully realize their potential for trust,” says Ganden. “NFTs enable true digital ownership. […] Beyond utility, NFTs enhance social identity and community engagement.

This means players can “manage multiple accounts, interact with games without directly paying gas bills or managing complex on-chain transactions.”

The Transak partnership manager also said that the company plans to continue its efforts to reduce the complexity of the blockchain and “will continue to add new blockchains based on the ecosystem and user needs.”
