Following last week's main report advertisement By Gavin Wood on the new Jam protocol At Token2049, several new projects built around Polkadot were announced last week.

The Web3 Foundation threw its weight behind decentralized storage; Support Moonsong Labs'S StorageHub as part of it Decentralized future program.

The project aims to provide a complete Polkadot native storage solution built on the Polkadot Parachain infrastructure for various Web3 use cases.

StorageHub is specifically designed for file-based storage and large data sets, which can be applied to conventional parachain storage solutions. It aims to enable the storage of large files and data sets without compromising the core principle of decentralization.

StorageHub will take a phased growth approach over the next year. The process initially focuses on development, followed by audits, testing and optimization to ensure integration with the Polkadot network.

New Polkadot Podcast

Polkadot founder Gavin Wood has launched a new podcast called ‘A Glass with Gav' to discuss the world of Polkadot and Web3.

In the first episode, Wood sits down for a glass of whiskey with Mark Caccia, CIO of digital asset manager Scytale Digital.

The first discussion explores the importance of additional repositories and alliances in the Web3 industry. Listeners can look forward to new episodes every month, with the podcast available on platforms including YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Polkadot popularized by ArtsDAO

Several Polkadot projects were highlighted at Arts DAO, one of the world's leading real-life NFT and digital art events hosted in Dubai.

The event featured real-world exhibits from Polkadot projects including art exchange Kodadot, Metaverse platform Bit.Country, gaming platform Moonsama and Subwallet app.

Culture4causes collaborated with Polkadot for ‘Reconciliation with Living', an exhibition focusing on the art of generative artist Zankan.
