These 5 Altcoins Can Be Delisted On Binance:

Binance’s Delisting Decision Sends 6 Altcoins Into Freefall

The world's largest crypto exchange Binance has suggested delisting five altcoins.

This decision comes as the exchange's Bluzelle (BLZ), CLV (CLV), SelfKey (KEY), Prosper (PROS) and VITE (VITE) have been added to the watch list, indicating that they have been scrutinized due to high volatility and risks.

The tracking tag is Binance's way of identifying tokens that don't meet its strict listing requirements. The evaluation criteria are based on the team's commitment to the project, the quality and level of development activities, transaction volume and funding. It also examines the stability and security of the network and its responsiveness to Binance's current due diligence requirements.

“Note that tokens with a tracking tag do not meet our listing requirements and are at risk of being removed from the platform,” Binance warned.

Therefore, this alert caused a significant drop in the price of these altcoins. VITE saw the biggest impact, down nearly 25%. PROS and CLV followed with 15.74% and 15.22% drops.

Although the market is down, KEY and BLZ have shown some strength. Initially, the price of KEY fell by 9%, but later recovered, and is now down 7.35%. BLZ experienced a quick 12% decline but has regained its footing, now down only 4.54%.

In addition, in a contrary decision, Binance has removed the token from two altcoins, Pendle (PENDLE) and Sei (SEI). This fix means that these tokens are considered stable and now less vulnerable. The seed tag typically indicates new projects that carry more flexibility and risk.

For those participating in tokens under a tracking tag or seed tag, Binance requires users to pass a set of questions every 90 days. These questions are intended to make traders fully aware of the risks they face.
