More Telegram Tokens: Telegram-based games are the biggest thing happening in the crypto game right now, and two more popular games made their token plans even more clear last week. Pixelverse, the cyberpunk-themed gaming ecosystem that owns a booming Telegram fighting game called PixelTap, announced Friday that it is simulating on the Open Network (TON) — similar to NotCoin and the upcoming Hamster Combat Token.
Meanwhile, another hot Telegram game, Katizen — a puzzle-matching game with cartoon cats — announced over the weekend that a ton token drop is scheduled for July. It's just around the corner!
Notcoin New Launch: Viral Telegram game Notcoin “New Beginning” teased In the midst of a campaign that shows about $8 million worth of worthless tokens being burned or given away to the public. On Tuesday, $3 million worth of unclaimed NOT tokens were burned, with an additional $5 million distributed to the community as a “bonus.”
Not long ago, some sort of new startup was teased on the official Notcoin Telegram channel. While everything is still unclear, it appears to be related to the TON NFT collection Lost Dogs Co after following the breadcrumbs left by the Notcoin team. This may have something to do with it. NotCoin's goal is to become “the Netflix of social, viral games.”
MetalCore token: Studio369, the developer behind the sci-fi mech shooter Metalcorehe began Ethereum Alongside the third phase of beta, which closed this week, it introduces new gameplay and economic features for the blockchain-based game.
On Thursday, MetalCore's Closed Beta 3 (CB3) began featuring session-based PvP dispatching, dominance, flagship, and high-value target modes. Then on Friday, Studio369 held a token generation event for its MCG token on the Ethereum mainnet. Immutable zkEVMThe layer-2 scale network on which MetalCore is being built.
World Wide Web Brands: World Wide Web, a retro-style Ethereum NFT game, announced last week that it is rebranding itself as Soulbound, adopting a new sci-fi narrative path. Soulbound is a roguelite game that challenges you to clear dungeons full of enemies while trying different strategies and character builds.
At the same time, Soulbound announced that after winning the Discord App Pitches 2024 competition, the game is being developed to be playable within popular gaming chat app Discord.
“We see Discord as the future for gamers, so we wanted a brand that would differentiate it from the web and introduce it to the next generation of platform gaming,” Soulbound co-founder and CEO Thomas Webb told DecryptGG. . After years of brainstorming, we finally nailed it.”
