The big news
TikTok Airdrop Sonic SVM, the layer-2 gaming chain built on top of Solana, launched the SONIC token on Tuesday. The token has peaked a Market value of 443 million dollars But it later dropped to $277 million. With this, players of the project TikTok's touch-to-earn game Sonic X were able to claim their tokens – the claim period has expired. January 30.
The game follows the simple touch premise that most games in the genre follow, but innovates by launching the game with Tik Tok rather than Telegram. This helped the project to reach more than 2 million players, which confirmed the success of Sonic SVM. Now, Sonic SVM is looking to onboard third-party projects to follow in its footsteps.

This approach quickly attracted a cult-like following, but when members of popular esports group Faze Clan started shilling the token, it went parabolic. Richard “Fuzzy Banks” Bengtson believed in the token so much that he got the first MLG logo tattooed—that is, Major League Gaming, the company that was on the Call of Duty scene.
The MLG token isn't an official offering of that Activision-owned tournament maker, but that hasn't stopped it from posting monster profits. MLG is up nearly $0.178 as of press time, putting it at a high market cap of around $177 million on Saturday. Since then, it has fallen about 30%.
Arena of Machines on Steam and PS5: Ethereum Hero shooter Machines Arena-Ronin, which runs on Game Network – is coming to new platforms, and will be released on the main PC marketplace Steam and the PlayStation 5 console. However, since both platforms have restrictive crypto policies, those versions of the game will have zero or limited crypto features.
