Real Vision CEO Raul Pal is heavily invested in the Solana ecosystem. He highlighted the potential of the Ethereum/Bitcoin cross, which could signal the start of the altcoin era.
“If the ETH/BTC cross starts to break higher and break out of the bottom of the range, I'm interested because this is the start of the altcoin season in its true form,” Pal said.
This view is consistent with the cyclical nature of capital flows in the crypto market.
On the other hand, Arthur Hayes made a bold prediction, suggesting that Aptos could overtake Solana in the Layer-1 blockchain competition. “Aptos can be the number two layer-1 on Solana,” he emphasized the dynamics of competition in this segment.
Meanwhile, Pal pointed out the importance of the root protocol, Move. He believes it has the potential to shape the future of blockchain technology.
“Move protocol, think of this as a larger narrative in the future. We can solve that, then we can fight Aptos and SUI,” Pal added.

Hayes further elaborated on these views, saying that Cardano may not be among the top ten in the current market cycle.
