But after the coin quickly “darkened” at the expense of investors, Hogan took to Instagram to remind his fans to ignore any crypto posts that come their way. His Twitter account.
“Please ignore any posts posted today,” Hogan said Shared on Instagram.. “They are not from me and will be removed immediately.”
Indeed, there is no sign of the alleged crypto scam on Hogan's official Twitter account. In fact, there's nothing on his feed anymore—everything has been deleted.
It's not immediately clear whether Hogan's Twitter account was hacked to share an elaborate cryptosystem—like we've seen with other celebrities and celebrities before, or if someone connected to Hogan and his account used it maliciously.
A URL on Hogan's otherwise empty Twitter profile still points to a website created for the account, and a quick search of his name reveals a fragment left in the crypto community on Thursday.
Hogan's account shared dozens of posts about the HULK meme, including Coin. Tweeting at Iggy Azalea About her coin. The account also shared the coin's video support, but journalist Matt Binder tweeted. That it was taken from a 2023 video without a karaoke contest and didn't specifically mention cryptocurrency.
According to chain data from DexScreener, the HULK token quickly rose to a market cap of nearly $19 million. HULK now sits at a market value of $3 million, down 85% from its peak in a short period of time, with $82 million worth of trading in just a few hours.
