XP.GG chooses Shrapnel as the first web3 game

Shrapnel joins Fortnite, CS2 and Overwatch, playtests begin in August 2024

Melbourne, Australia (July 25, 2024) – Perion Labs and Shrapnel have announced a partnership for Perion's current project, XP.GG, a gaming platform that allows players to be rewarded for playing their favorite games. XP.GG offers a universal battle pass across all XP.GG games, giving players real rewards for good results.

XP.GG will launch on August 1, 2024 with Fortnite, Counter-Strike 2 and Overwatch, with more games being added every month. Limited access to Shrapnel will go live in early 2025 with full access for XP.GG players during the Playoffs until the end of 2024.

Players can find challenges in their favorite games designed to hone their skills and in turn boost their Universal Battle Pass on XP.GG. Season 0 prizes include a $6,000 gaming PC setup, a Fortnite-themed Secret Labs gaming chair, a PS5, a $1000 CS2 knife and more, with a total value of over $10,000. Rewards increase in value each season as more players perform well and earn rewards.
