YouTuber KSI faces pump and dump allegations from ZachXBT and Coffeezilla.
YouTube star Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, commonly known as “KSI”, has been accused of pump and dump by crypto detectives ZachXBT and Coffeezilla after he relaunched his old crypto-focused X account.
In the year The internet celebrity shared a post testing the waters of the crypto-focused account, which has around 371,000 followers.
A few hours later, crypto-investigator ZackXBT commented on KSI's post, saying the YouTuber “starts sharing trash again.” The crypto-investigator followed up on the response by sharing a screenshot of KSI's XCAD Network (XCAD) project to earn money around the clock. This is coupled with a screenshot from another KSI crypto wallet dropping $850,000 in XCAD tokens.
ZachXBT shared other examples of KSI posting about tokens and then selling them. In the year In 2021, KSI posted that he was a “bully” on Ethernity Chain (ERN), a non-vulnerable token (NFT)-focused project. But hours later, blockchain data showed that KSI had sold about $350,000 in ERN tokens.
YouTuber Stephen “Cofizilla” Findison published a series of videos sharing KSI's statements on the matter. According to KSI, he still holds some XCAD tokens, and still “fully believes” in the project and his ability to earn by viewing content. The YouTuber revealed that he sold XCAD to invest in the former LUNA, the now-defunct Terra Luna Classic (LUNC).
The internet celebrity explained that he had “no intention of trying to cheat” and that he was new to crypto and excited. When KSI tried to explain the posts and sales, he said that every time he tweets something, the opposite happens, and that's why he decided to “tweet the opposite of what he's been doing.”

However, Kofizila argued that KSI saying one thing in public and doing the opposite in private is the “definition of pump and dump”. Successful or not, Kofizila argued that KSI did it all pump and dump. “I don't buy that he had no clue that tweeting something would have a positive effect on his utility value.”
KSI is also close friends and business partners with fellow YouTuber Logan Paul, who has also faced crypto-related controversy. Paul was involved in a class-action lawsuit related to the sale of an NFT stock called Cryptozoo. This promises to release a game to find a game that never started. On January 5, Paul promised to refund investors if they dropped any current or future legal claims against the celebrity.
