ZachXBT accused Gamegear dev ‘scaredofboobs’ of being a fraudulent NFT machine.
X user scaredofboobs is the rogue NFT machine, according to a report from chainsaw ZachXBT. On December 28, ZackXBT said on his official Telegram channel that “X/Twitter User scaredofboobs is a scammer known as NFT Machine.”
NFT Machine was an X (formerly Twitter) account managed by the founder of OpenFT, a decentralized marketplace project. The tag on X is “in violation [its] Rules” According to a February 2022 thread from crypto investor Shual, the NFT Machine account is managed by “Doxx American Citizen” Tyler Gaye. A report from Colorado's Local Today Newsroom states that Gaye and the NFT machine are the same person, and that Gaye is a Denver resident. The LocalToday report cited BusinessDen, a Colorado news site, as the source.
According to Local Today, Gaye has been accused by investors of creating a scheme to raise money for his private collection and fraudulent use of worthless tokens (NFTs) for his private collection. Using his NFT machine account, Gaye raised $55,000 from investors promoting OpenNFT. But instead of creating an NFT marketplace, he spent the money on NFTs himself, including many items from the MoonCats collection, the lawsuit alleges.
The report goes on to say that the investors hired a private investigator to track down Guy's home address. They then filed a lawsuit against him demanding a refund and punitive damages. Gay did not appear in court, and a default judgment was entered against him. It was ordered to pay investors $55,000, an additional $55,000 in restitution and $165,000 in punitive damages, for a total of $275,000, the report said.
Scaredofboobs is an X user known for publishing open source code related to Solana smart contract development. Gamegear is the developer of retro games like Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Dig Dug and more.
According to ZachXBT's Dec. 18 post, Tyler Gaye is X user scaredofboobs. The lawsuit also claims that Gaye did not repay investors as ordered by the court and continued to create new crypto projects. ZachXBT points to the retro gaming project ArcadeDAO as one example.

Cointelegaph did not find examples of the X tag scaredofboobs being used to openly promote crypto investments, although it did find several references to open source Solana projects.
In August, ZachXBT released a study revealing that more than $13 million worth of crypto had been stolen in the past four months in SIM-swap attacks. He deactivated his X account on December 24, prompting impersonators to create fake accounts pretending to be him. The account has since been reactivated, but has not posted since December 18th.
ZackXBT's Dec. 28 post-bubs expose was made by Telegram and not crossed over to X.
