Blockdaemon announces integration with LayerZero
Blockdaemon integrates LayerZero's cross-chain messaging capabilities into its own wallet. The partnership will further enhance LayerZero's security, said Ryan Zarick, CTO of LayerZero Labs.
Blockchain infrastructure firm BlockDaemon is working with LaberZero Labs, the developer behind Omnichain interoperability protocol LayerZero, to add cross-chain capabilities to its self-governing wallet.
Blockdaemon DVN to work on LayerZero
As announced, the partnership with LayerZero Labs sees Blockdaemon as the infrastructure provider for the blockchain messaging protocol. Blockdaemon's Decentralized Verifier Network (DVN) runs on LayerZero.
Other entities operating DVN include Animoka Brands, Google Cloud, and Gitcoin.

DVNs provide off-chain authentication of messages and the startup expands its partnership with LayerZero, which includes using the protocol's BlockDemon node as a service platform. The collaboration follows the recently launched LayerZero V2.
“The integration of both Blockdaemon Wallet with LayerZero and DVN (Blockdaemon Oracle) promises to establish a secure, compliant and high-volume entry point to liquidity pools, giving institutions full control over their assets,” CEO Constantin Richter said. and founder of Blockdaemon.
With this integration, BlockDaemon is targeting more institutional adoption for the blockchain wallet as well as the DeFi API. The company launched the wallet in April.
Commenting on the partnership, LayerZero Labs CTO and Co-Founder Ryan Zarick said;
“LayerZero Labs aims to develop scalable cross-chain infrastructure and communication technology: immutable, permissionless and censorship resistant. “Blockdaemon's integration of the LayerZero protocol with their industry-leading MPC wallet and participation in LayerZero as a DVN demonstrates the enterprise-level utility of the LayerZero protocol and expands the number of DVNs that developers can choose to use in their security stack,” added the LayerZero Labs exec.
