Built with the Polkadot SDK, Human will be highly decentralized with the Nakamoto coefficient.

Humanode, a Layer-1 blockchain built with the Polkadot SDK, is the most decentralized blockchain network based on the Nakamoto coefficient. With 706 active validator nodes, the Nakamoto coefficient for human is 236, surpassing the previous number one role, which has a Nakamoto coefficient of 155. Polkadot now ranks 3rd.

The Nakamoto Coefficient is a measure of how many node operators are needed to control a layer-1 blockchain stake, and if validators are coordinated, it is enough to block the network. The higher the number, the more decentralized the blockchain is.

“Proof blockchains revolve around large verifiers or staking protocols like Lido that hold the infrastructure. Once Lido comes down, people start questioning the decentralization of proof-of-stake networks. They may have millions of nodes, but the actual control over communication is in the hands of a few. Humane co-founder Victor said. “In Human, a person can initiate only one node, which is authenticated by cryptbiometric technology. All validators have equal power, which means that the decentralization of the Humanode chain increases proportionally with the number of human nodes. Imagine if we hit 10,000 nodes or 1 million nodes, what kind of Nakamoto coefficient can be achieved!? This makes a coordinated attack almost impossible. No project is more decentralized than Human.

Humanode will soon release its governance protocol, where one human node has only one vote, creating the first democratic DAO to oversee the core protocol and further development of the ecosystem.

About Humanode

Human is the first cryptobiometric blockchain built on the Polkadot SDK as an EVM compatible layer-1 where one person = one node = one vote. It uses private facial recognition that protects against multiple accounts and bots like backdoors, DAOs, DeFi, NFT mints, GameFi and more. After one year of mainnet operation, Humanode has 500,000+ users and 70+ projects using its cryptobiometric technology.
