The Hyper Foundation has completed the genesis distribution of the HYPE token, the HyperLiquid Network's native token for decentralized finance (DeFi)'s high-speed blockchain—based on a peak price of $5.40, with users downloading more than $1.6 billion worth of tokens since the overnight launch.
Hyper Liquid users received 31% or 310 million of the total 1 billion HYPE supply as part of the Genesis distribution, with another 38.88% earmarked for future releases and community rewards. In particular, no signs are set for “Private investors, centralized exchanges or market makers.“
