Injective and Jumbo partner to bring mobile-based DeFi to millions in emerging markets.
Jumbo Injective and Web3 mobile company will partner to promote Defin in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia. The partnership aims to make it easier for millions to access dApps through Jambophone.
Injective and Web3 mobile infrastructure platform Jambo have announced a partnership that will allow the two companies to collaborate on blockchain-powered financial solutions for millions of users in emerging markets.
The partnership will leverage Web3's Android 13 smartphone Jumbo Phone to introduce users to the Injective Defy ecosystem across Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
“Combining Injective's robust infrastructure stack with Jumbo's mature Web3 mobile technology will enable us to scale DeFi to empower billions of people to overcome real socio-economic challenges,” said Mirza Uddin, chief business officer of Injective Labs, in an announcement.
As part of the partnership, users in these emerging markets will have access to a number of decentralized applications (dApps) in the Injective ecosystem through the JamboPlay dApp Store. One of the first platforms available will be Ninji, a native Injective Wallet.
“We want to bring new markets to the chain,” said James Zhang, the founder of Jumbo.
Web3 phone for DeFi adoption
JamboPhone is currently priced at $99 and is sold in over 100 countries. Web3 Phone's pre-installed applications include DeFi, Game, and Web3 Infrastructure.
The partnership continues Jumbo's commitment to promoting Africa and other emerging markets. Also, the blockchain platform is part of Inject's mission by providing an interoperable layer 1 network optimized for Web3.
