Ronin offers $10M grant program for Web3 developer growth
Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain Ronin Network has announced a $10 million funding program for its developer community.
The Ronin Ecosystem Grants initiative was launched on January 16 as part of the network's strategy to expand blockchain capabilities and resources by attracting more developers.

Gifts shared between builders and roads
According to the announcement, a $10 million funding pool will be distributed between developers and roads, a form of crypto-based bridging service. The developer grants provide up to $300,000 in Ronin (RON) tokens, while the Waypoint Gas grant provides up to $20,000 in RON.
Approved developer teams and projects are awarded milestone-based funding in alignment with predetermined long-term goals. The funding will cover essential costs such as development integrations, audits and deployments. The company's help page says:
“We're excited to support teams and game studios with new ideas to expand the capabilities and resources of the Ronin ecosystem.”
The grants are part of a broader strategy to promote developer collaboration and make Ronin the foundation for gaming, consumer DApps and DeFi protocols.
Participating projects and application devs are expected to solve user or developer pain points, onboard new users, and increase onchain activity. The relatively small waypoint Gas Assistance is a blockchain interoperability that aims to simplify user onboarding, improve user experience and offset gas costs.
Attracting web3 developers on the Ronin blockchain
Ronin's latest grants program has no time limit and the review process for all applications takes up to four weeks. In addition, approved projects will receive greater online visibility on various Ronin platforms, including the Ronin Ecosystem Grants website and Ronin Pocket.

Other benefits include access to the Ronin Builders Discord – collaboration with teams, venture capitalists (VCs) and mentors, and opportunities to integrate with Web3 Games and ecosystem partners.
Approved builders will be eligible for discounts from infrastructure and equipment suppliers.
Projects applying for multiple grant programs must submit a separate application for each program.
