Data storage powerhouse Space&Time, known for securing onchain financing, recently announced Dreamspace, an artificial intelligence (AI) app developer that enables users to generate and deploy fully functional apps without writing a single line of code. Developed in partnership with Microsoft's Azure AI Foundry and Base, Dreamspace aims to put sophisticated financial-grade infrastructure into the hands of the broader creative economy.
The AI app builder works on a simple premise: users provide a text description of the app they want, and the platform's AI engine handles the rest. This includes automatically generated smart contract logic ready for deployment. By making each contract transparent, it allows app developers to verify how their app works on-chain. These applications inherit the same secure data layer used by major financial institutions.
“Space and Time is built to make verifiable data accessible to any application at any scale. Dreamspace is where that infrastructure meets the people building the next wave of the Internet,” said Nate Holliday, co-founder of Space and Time.
The platform's technical pedigree is the result of deep industry partnerships. Dreamspace uses Azure OpenAI and is backed by Microsoft's venture fund M12, which has invested $20 million in Space and Time by 2022.
Dreamspace runs on Base, Coinbase's high-speed L2 network, to ensure its applications are commercially viable. This integration allows for sub-coin transaction fees, sub-second transaction speeds, and full Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility.

Celebrating its official launch on April 23, Dreamspace has seen massive engagement with over 34,000 apps created during its beta phase. The platform is also making waves in education. In Indonesia, several schools have already integrated DreamSpace into their curriculum, setting up an AI lab with a goal of reaching more than 140,000 students.
Michael Stewart, managing partner at M12, explains that this versatility is exactly what Microsoft wanted in its initial investment. “Dreamspace makes that foundation a completely different developer,” he says, pointing to a shift in how complex blockchain infrastructure becomes an invisible and effortless tool for the global workforce.
