This integration is expected to position Monad as a popular EVM platform for leveraging dWallet technology and provide developers with the agility and scale to innovate in DeFi.

Commenting on the initiative, Keone Hon, Monad Labs Co-Founder and CEO,

“This support from the dWallet network is a testament to our commitment to providing the best platform for EVM developers. Our unmatched speed and performance, combined with dWallet's innovative multi-chain capabilities, further cements Monad's position as the leading blockchain for DeFi development and greatly enhances the tools available to our developers. Developers in the DeFi space We're setting a new standard for what you can expect.

The interconnected DeFi landscape

The dWallet network uses 2PC-MPC to implement the dWallet feature. This multi-party protocol, developed by the team, allows for the creation of ECDSA signatures in a “non-shared” way. This essentially involves not just the end user but a large number of nodes, which may be in the hundreds or thousands.

dWallet said the integration represents a significant step toward achieving a fully interoperable and decentralized financial ecosystem, emphasizing that it will be easier for Monad ecosystem developers to integrate dWallet's native multi-chain capabilities into their applications. This move is expected to provide a user-friendly experience across various blockchain platforms without compromising overall security and user control.

Meanwhile, dWallet Network Co-Founder Omar Sadika emphasized the importance of this integration, saying the ultimate goal of the partnership is to facilitate a “connected” DeFi landscape.
