It's finally here: Former President Donald Trump's decentralized finance project will launch a token sale next week.
In a post on Twitter (aka X) Friday, World Freedom Finance announced A public sale of tokens will begin on Tuesday, October 15. The sale will be open to those eligible on the whitelist.
As of September, prospective customers have been able to apply for whitelisting. For now, World Liberty Financial is open to accredited investors in the US—those who, according to the SEC, have a net worth of at least $1 million, either individually or as a partnership (and not including the cost of a primary residence).
Accredited investors must have an annual income of at least $200,000 or $300,000 with a spouse or partner for at least two years, the U.S. regulator says, a salary trend that will continue this year. He said he hopes the project will eventually be open to all Americans.
