US President Donald Trump's memecoin rose slightly from an all-time low after the group behind the token said their top officials would be meeting the president at another special event.

The official Trump (TRUMP) token team posted on X on Thursday that a luncheon with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida for the top 297 token holders is planned for April 25.

The memecoin website bills Trump as the event's keynote speaker; But a White House official told POLITICO that the event was not locked into Trump's schedule, and that it was the day Trump said he would attend the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Eligibility to participate in the event is limited to a maximum of 297 holders based on the time frame between March 12 and April 10. Attendees must also pass a background check. The top 29 finishers will also be eligible for a private reception with Trump.

It was the second event for the TRUMP token holder, the first being held at Trump Golf Club in May, that has drawn concern from critics who have accused Trump of running the presidency for personal financial gain.

According to CoinGecko, the TRUMP token rose to a high of $3.06 on Thursday amid the gala news, from a low of $2.73 hours earlier.

TRUMP is up 2.4% to $2.94 in the last 24-hours, but is down 96% from its January 2025 high of $73.43.

At last year's inaugural event for TRUMP token holders, Tron founder Justin Sun held the top spot in the audience, which was said to be good enough to receive a wristwatch presented during the ceremony.

Infinex founder Cain Warwick attended the event after accumulating enough TRUMP to crack the top 25 investors on the leaderboard.
