Following this, the Uniswap Foundation team relies on auditing firms and community auditing competitions to validate the v4 code. The team believes that Uniswap v4 should be “the most tightly validated code ever implemented on Ethereum”. At the same time, the decentralized exchange will be distributed to the testnet as the team makes final adjustments.
According to the Uniswap Foundation, the third phase will push Uniswap v4 to the Ethereum mainnet in the quarter of 2024. The firm stated that this is a time frame based on the status of Denkun's upcoming update on Ethereum.
As previously reported by Cointelegraph, the Ethereum network activated its Denko update on the Gorley testnet on January 17. The update introduces several Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), such as EIP-4844, which focuses on reducing proto-danksharding. Transaction fees.
Gourley's deployment for the Denkun upgrade suffered a four-hour delay. However, the upgrade work on the Sepolia testnet – the second of the three Ethereum testnets – was completed on January 31 without incident. 7.
